The Columbus Sewing Center has been serving the needs
of Columbus and surrounding communities for well over 30 years.
Christine and Chris Lorimor have owned the store since June 2003 and are making
every effort to continue its reputation as a value provider to the sewing
community. We are growing that sewing community. Please join us.
Lelia Turner has been with us since we started in Columbus in 2003. Elsie
Williams and Mary Singleton have been long time loyal customers turned
partners.
We purchased the store within Joann's in Bloomington in
November 2005 and named it the Bloomington Sewing Center. We had a
good run in Bloomington, but closed there in August 2007 and have re-opened
The Sewing Center in our own storefront in Bedford in September 2007.
The welcome we've received in Bedford has been wonderful and we hope when you
visit us that we can return the favor. Aimee Formo and Sharon Doughtery
are doing a great job in Bedford
as enthusiastic sewers ready to help you.
